Partial locavore
Living in Alaska, it’s hard to be a complete locavore. But I’m glad to be able to be a least a partial locavore, thereby reducing my carbon footprint, supporting Alaska farmers, & getting some really great local produce.
Local farmers, local food

A reasoned statement about carbohydrates
John Berardi’s rule for the carb content in a “gourmet” nutrition meal is simple: “[the meal] must offer you carbs only if you ‘deserve’ them.” And you only deserve higher carb meals only when you’ve exercised.
