Juneau celebrates Pride 2012 with annual PFLAG/SEAGLA picnic — Saturday, June 23

Juneau Pride PicnicYou and your supportive family and family of friends are invited to Juneau’s annual PFLAG and SEAGLA Gay Pride Picnic at Sandy Beach Shelter # 2 on Saturday, June 23.

he basics – the burgers (veggie and meat), the buns, and the paper goods are being provided. Please bring side dishes such as salads, desserts, beverages to go along with the burgers.Providing some firewood would be helpful if the day turns out chilly. Feel free to bring your own reusable picnic utensils (bowls, plates, cups, etc) if you would like to help generate less waste.

Do you have any ideas for beach games? They would sure be welcome.

In honor of this being an election year, the “theme” will be red, white and blue. Can you share some table coverings or streamers or an American flag or other red, white, and blue decorations?
