Bernie’s Bungalow, One Anchorage & Hendrick’s Gin invite you to a Speakeasy Party benefiting One Anchorage!

Prohibition-era style costumes mandatory! Featuring live jazz with The Alex Cruver Trio & prohibition-era style cocktails including Foghorn, Sidecar, French 75, just to name a few. There will be photographer on hand to take pictures of your Era inspired costumes. This is a benefit for One Anchorage so, come on, come all and help raise $$ for a good cause!!!!  Can’t make it? One Anchorage is made up of everyday Alaskans with one common goal: to secure the exact same legal protections for gay, lesbian, gay, and transgender Alaskans that we already provide in the Municipality of Anchorage to women, minorities, and others. The Anchorage Equal Rights Initiative, which was certified on December 14 to appear on the ballot for the April 3 municipal election, seeks to amend Anchorage’s equal rights code to provide the same legal protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or transgender identity that are already provided based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, marital status, age, physical disability, and mental disability.
