Juneau’s got a rep for dirty politicians, but Rage City Rollergirls boast that Alaska’s capital will meet its match on the flat track when Rage City’s Dirty Polli’s take on the visiting Juneau Rollergirls on January 14 at the Dena’ina Center in downtown Anchorage.

Avoid downtown parking by taking the Peanut Farm shuttle (5227 Old Seward Hwy; see map) and leave the driving to them. After the bout get delivered back to the Peanut Farm and stick around for the after-party and dance the night away with your favorite roller girls.

Rage City is dedicated to helping those in need. Fans are encouraged to bring donations of new or gently used children’s clothing to help kids in need, and a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Alaska Speedskating Club.

• Date/time: Saturday, January 14, 6:00-9:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00, wheels roll at 7:00 — plan to arrive early for the best seats!
• Location: Dena’ina Center, 600 W 7th Ave., Anchorage, AK (see map)
• Cost of admission: Adults: $12 advance/$18 at the door for general admission; $20 advance/$30 at the door for reserved seating. Children under 12: $5 advance/$9 at the door general admission; $10 advance/$18 at the door for reserved seating. (Ticketmaster or box office fees additional.) Get tickets through Ticketmaster or from your favorite Rollergirl. General admission seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.
