Step Up Step Out with PridePride Conference organizers have issued their call for workshop and vendor applicants. And we’ve got the application forms here! So step up, step out, and fill ’em out.

The Alaska Pride Conference is an annual day-long event held in Anchorage filled with workshops, speakers, vendors, and great food.  This year’s Pride Conference will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Alaska Pacific University in the Carr Gottstein Building, with keynote speaker Nathan Belyeu, Senior Education Manager with the Trevor Project. The Pride Conference is sponsored by Identity, Inc.

Workshops

Conference organizers are seeking inspiring and professional presenters to share their knowledge, experiences and successes. Organizers ask that all workshop proposals fall into one of four streams: (1) Youth; (2) Stepping Up; (3) Stepping Out; or (4) Pride History and Fun.

Vendors/Exhibitors

The vendor/exhibitor fee ($25 for non-profits, $35 for for-profit) includes one table and two chairs. Vendors selling non-packaged food items, must have a health certificate from the Municipality of Anchorage.
