The Fairbanks Ducal Ball XIX is on Saturday, and they’re starting the day with a big splash — rafting the Chena River with Queens and Divas! Have fun on the river, enjoy the last great show by Duke Lynnette and Duchess Kara after a fantastic year, and welcome the new Duke and Duchess of Fairbanks.

“We are also voting for the Rochelle Delite Award that night,” writes Duke Lynnette. “First time it has EVER been voted on in Fairbanks and announced in the same night. Kara and I have nominated 5 people we think have helped our community the most and everyone will vote that night. We are trying to beat our current record of 275 people attending.”

We will meet at Pro Music and float to Pikes… stopping at random bars along the way (for pee breaks!)

Bring: A raft, a life vest, and BYOB.

We will need cars at the pick up point to transfer people to the put in point. Also… “My Fairbanks peeps can help ANC by bringing any extra rafts and life vests.” Even if you don’t attend, please donate rafts and life vests for a day.

It’s the end of our reign and the beginning of another!!!!

The ICOAA and your Fairbanks Duke and Duchess XVIII would like to invite you to celebrate an amazing year as we step down and hand over our titles. This will be our last event as your Duke and Duchess so please join us as we celebrate an amazing year.

Our event will be hosted by Daphne DoAll LaChores, everyone loves the church lady!!! After party will be hosted by DJ 50/50.

What to wear? Personally, all girls should wear bikinis, but that’s just my preference! It’s a Hawaiian Luau so come comfortable in shorts, flip flops and bathing suits…. just cover up your fun parts!! :)
