Before going to the Hands Across the Sand event yesterday, we were at the Pride march in downtown Anchorage. And afterwards, we were at the Pride picnic on Delaney Park Strip.
One of the great things about this years parade was the participation of political leaders. I was pleased as all get-out to see my Assembly representative, Elvi Gray-Jackson, as this year’s parade marshal.
We were also joined by candidate for Alaska lieutenant governor Diane Benson —
And two candidates for governor, Ethan Berkowitz —
— and Hollis French —
